What makes Araku, a local tribal area in Andhra Pradesh, a perfect place for COFFEE ? Find out here.

Hello Everyone,

Myself Venkat. #localguide. I Love to Travel. I am a coffee Lover. Have different brands of coffee in the home. From Instant coffee to Filter Coffee to Coffee Beans.

Recently got a chance to visit this beautiful place named Araku, which is 125 Kms from Vishakapatnam (City of Destiny) with my sisters and brother in laws. From Vishakapatnam, go on Indian Railways to enjoy Nature and that train goes through around 25 Tunnels which are piercing through a range of mountains. It’s a delight to watch all the awestruck nature and at the same time enjoying the train experience when going through tunnels. This is the place which is full of greenery, coffee plantations, Black Pepper and also Famous for Bamboo Chicken which will be prepared by locals. Absolutely a foodie item to try on. One can freely roam in coffee plantations as long as they want.

Govt of AP is maintaining coffee museum with an entrance fee of Rs.10/ for Adults. I have the privilege to try different types of coffee here. It was absolutely fantastic. I am able to differentiate among various coffee I tried there. They made filter coffee with absolute perfection I can say. We can buy a different type of coffee’s from 100 grams to Kilos. From Arabica to Ethnic to Coffee Beans. Here we will also find the evaluation of coffee over the period of mankind.

Why I am sharing about this is that I did not come across still visiting this place that coffee is of different breeds with different proportionate of chicory mixture ranging from 30% to 5%. That’s a mixture of Tasteful to Bitter. That’s a TASTE to test.
