The program has been an eye opener. I have been able to visit places that I have never thought i would ever visit, again, I have met people who are now great friends.
This in essence has created a big impact not only to me but to the community that I stay, many have asked questions on places that I have been to and got help. In this small way I feel the impact that I have created. Local Guides has proved to be a game changer in making all of us identify cultures and diversities. It makes us open to the world. I wouldnt be afraid to go anywhere because I know I have a back up with Local Guide program.
