Hello everyone.
This is RG from India.
I would like to disclose what the Maps’ Local Guides program means to me, through this post.
1.I get a lot of help for myself about places to go and new cities that I visit.
2.In the same way, I like to give it back to the society by helping them through my contribution to Google Maps ie. The Local guides program.
- I make edits to the places’ exact locations, the status of their closure and the types of services provided, Contact details; moreover I post pictures and videos of all the places that I have been to. This helps all the people to get an idea of whether it’s worth it to go to a place they think of going to.
For example, I post information (both media and literal facts )of famous forts, museums, art gallery that I visit and what kind of light and sound shows they organise.
-
Furthermore, I can inform if a particular vehicle service station or a doctor or a mall is worth visiting.
-
Additionally, I get to share my experiences if I felt cheated by any shopkeeper or a restaurant in a specific city with its name and details of the situation that I encountered.
∆ That is how I feel that society gains a lot from my reviews vis-a-vis the programme.
