What local Guides program means to me:- Saying Thanks
I am Rajan Goyal living in a popular tourist destination (Amritsar, Punjab, India). More than 30 million people visits my city every year from different parts of the globe. So I feels very greatfull to help others.
But apart from tourist destination we live a social life and helping locals makes me top local guide as whenever I attended any marriage party of my friends n relative in local marriage palace ( Benquet Hall) I clicked photos of Benquet Hall from different angles and posted review and local people loved very much as marriages in India a grand & life time event. People spent big amount of their lifetime saving, so they are very particular about marriage palace ( Benquet Hall).
I am popular local guide of popular Tourist destination and helping others but about one tourist destination I came to know from Google. That was Pull Kanjari or Pull Mouran. Pull Kanjari is very historical place and it’s a important but lesser known place, now I will promote it.
Apart from helping locals and tourists local Guides program is very important for me personally because few year back I was stuck in a remote hilly area of with my wife and two kids. Our car was running out of fuel and there was no fuel station, house, shop near by. No help was available. Then Google maps helped me reach fuel station by shortcut route. It was impossible to reach fuel station without help of Google maps.
So by being local guide I am great full and it’s saying thanks and more importantly without sparring extra time. Thanks Google for creating Local Guide program.
