The word ‘Local Guide’ induce a sense of responsibility in me as a helping hand to this world, a responsibility which I love. This program means a lot to me. This platform is a part of my daily routine, every morning whenever I switch on my laptop, I check my mails and directly check the updates which have been posted on the Local Guides community platform. I read some posts and check the announcements.?
Whenever I travel to a new place or have good food at some new restaurant, I make my mind to write about it as soon as possible on the Local Guides post section, so that my experience and the reality of the place can reach to the people and they can have some insights about it. In this socially growing world, we, Local Guides, can help to show a real picture of any location on the Google Maps to the real world. 
Making a network out of my state or country is a gem. I became friends with @Julien44 through this platform. He has helped me a lot regarding my posts and guided me at each and every step for Connect Live. Getting to know the experiences of the Local Guides at this brilliant event is fun.?
When the Connect Live 2019 came to an end, I was too excited to see the pictures of the event. I looked at all the pictures and it really excited me for the next year. Watching the happiness of the Local Guides after gaining the best knowledge about the world at the event is a gem to the eye. Little jealousy showed up in my mind, but I am very proud & happy to be a Level 8 member of this program.?
Till now, I haven’t been to any foreign land outside India, but I get people on this platform to whom I can talk about the different places, beautiful locations to travel, their culture, know about their ethnicity and can share my own experiences and known cultures. This program is important to me because it lets me dive deeper into analytical viewpoint for every place and how is it useful on the Google Maps for the world.??
As my friends know, I visit new places as a Local Guide to make a valuable addition to the Google Maps, they always ask for my suggestions for any new place which has good food. There is no sense if you are discussing the reviews about a place with your friends only, this program lets me discuss it with the world, exciting!
I try to upload the real reviews and good pictures of a place so that people can make the right choice for themselves.??
