For me, Local Guides means improving the quality for the maps of my country, the countries that I visit, adding reviews, reading reviews, adding pictures and correcting details for the places that I visit.
By far the most rewarding activity for me is taking photos for google maps. This feature is very useful because the algorithm notifies you when it needs photos for a place and it also displays the number of views so you know how useful your photo is.

In Romania, Google has the most precise and up to date maps. From my point of view this is the result of programs like Google Map Maker and Google Local Guides. These programs allowed me to create new roads, remove non existent roads. For me it’s very important to be able to increase the safety and reliability of driving with Google Maps in Romania.
