Being a Local Guide active for almost 3 years, means for my three things: helping others, creating experiences and helping me to plan.
- Help others: In May 2016, by instinct, I decided to take a picture of the Elvira de Mendoza School that is located on a street from my house to upload it to Google Maps, I forgot that and a while later (maybe two years) I received a Google Maps email notifying me of the impact that image had on people and I was surprised that a simple image taken on a simple day would have been a great help for people to visually locate themselves.
- Create experiences: When I met my husband, he woke up that desire that existed to help people through images, since from the first day my life became adventures and I began to post comments of the places where we were accompanied by images so that they can serve as a guide and that through my experience people imagine how it will be a part of theirs. It is the same feeling when I search for a site, since in the end we all create experiences for everyone since we are connected.
- Help me plan: Two years ago I traveled to NY - MIA - MCO, I had 14 days to take advantage of all the attractions, food places, museums and places of interest, for this I made an itinerary per day of the sites, consulted the more efficient routes and seeing the places that had good reviews based on my tastes, all thanks to Google Maps, which made my trip much more efficient and organized and that those two weeks were worth months!
