before the demolition of Tarkwa Bay Beach, Lagos Nigeria.
Since my involvement in the Local Guides program two years ago, my boring and shy lifestyle has been alleviated. Now I make a conscious effort to try out a new place or a new dish so i can review and help others discover them too.
Through the local guides program, I have honed my skills in Photography and hitting perfect angles. Acquired better devices and learnt more on how to get better pictures.
I am more open to outings and accepting invitations to places I would ordinarily not go to because I am always curious to see these places, have conversations with their owners and leave reviews to help others discover the place.
Because of the size of the beach, locals and beach goers use this as a medium of transportation around the beach to ease up the stress of walking around.
This would be my first international event and I am already excited about the possibility of attending and meeting up with other local guides around the world.
The Local Guides Program has really opened my eyes to a whole new world and the endless possibilities out there and I am enjoying it… enjoying exploring and Socialising and for an introverted person like me, this means alot.
