Hi, I’m Abby. It’s an honor to be a Level 5 Local Guide. The Local Guides program has a significant impact on my life. To me, being a Local Guide means to explore, be Informative, and contribution. It means I’m not only just sharing my photo or reviews, but l can also help people. Let people know more about where they plan to go. I’m very proud I can contribute to google map and the world.
- Explore
I love to explore and try new things. I use Google maps to discover different foods or attractions.
I am passionate about finding Taipei’s best hot pot restaurant.
- Informational
When I visit new places, Google Maps is my main tool. I use the platform as a basis for my trip. With that being said, reviews and photos greatly affect my plan. I always upload my photos on Google Map and write a story behind the picture and video taken.
- Contribution
I not only share photos on Google Maps but also offer useful commentary. For example, in this restaurant, you cannot miss the Mango Souffle. To provide these information is my hobby. I enjoy sharing things with people and helping them to have a pleasant experience. The drive to for me to keep writing comments on Google Maps is to make friends with the same hobby all around the world. In addition, I want to enhance my horizons.
- Story
When I went to Okinawa last year, I had a major issue. My whole family could not speak Japanese and had never been to Okinawa. Fortunately, there are many recommended attractions and restaurants on Google Maps. The location and operating hours of the attractions was available and the navigation helped me a lot. Everything went well in the end and we didn’t encounter any problems. Thanks to Google Map, we had an enjoyable journey.
Being a Local Guide is a wonderful thing for me. Because I can contribute in helping others to plan their vacation effectively. I always give feedback to the places I have visited. I’m so proud to be a Local Guide, let us make the world better.
