What Local Guides means to me: connect to the world, show the beauty of my country

As we all know, China is one of the very few countries in the world that has network regulation. So in general, people in here can’t use Google Maps. I registered my google account about 10 years ago when I was a student, but due to network block in china, I haven’t used it for a very long time. Slowly I have forgotten Google Maps a bit.

When I got married, I started traveling around the world with my family. On these trips
, I restarted using Google Maps to plan route, find places or local special foods. Other local guides’s reviews and pictures on Google Maps are very helpful to me,
they make my trips colorful and more exciting.

So, I realized I can also help friends all over the world by being a local guide too, especially Google Maps has very few local guides in China. I can show the world the beauty of my country, and let my country reconnect to the world again.

Although I am a junior guide now, I will continue to work hard to integrate into this big family. See you guys in GUIYANG, have a colorful day in here.
