What Local Guides means to me: Approaching the Far, Uniting the Disconnected

Every summer I travel with a backpack along the Black Sea coast. I prefer “wild” tourism when you spend the night in a tent, cook food on a fire or on a gas burner, and take water in a spring. After these trips there are many photos that I post on my site.

Once, my friend and I were on such a trip to Maly Utrish (Small Utrish). This is a very beautiful place on the Black Sea. There is clean water for swimming, mineral water from a source for drinking, plenty of sun and beautiful nature. It was very cool, but after 2 weeks of living in tents, we wanted comfort, soup and a bath :grinning:

Fortunately, a newly built small hotel was found nearby, in which we found what we were looking for.
Returning to the city, I posted a photo of those places on Google Maps. After some time, I began to receive notifications about the growing number of views of these photos. Apparently, it was not only my friend and I who were looking for comfort, having slammed our sides on the stones in the tents :grinning:

Now one of those photos has 20,000 views. My friend and I also climbed Mount Lysaya and took a picture of Maly Utrish from above. Beautiful photo turned out.

I realized that this was useful to others and, in addition to photos, began to post reviews about the places I visited. I hope that they help people quickly evaluate a particular place according to my reviews.

And we, lovers of “wild” tourism, have gathered for many years in one place on the Black Sea coast. It is located near the Inal Bay.

This place we call “Our rock” or Dolphin Bay. A spring hits the rock. On a rock at an altitude of 60 meters above sea level is a pine forest. We hide from the scorching sun in it at lunch time. Our tents are also there. We spend all day downstairs, swimming and sunbathing. Every evening we gather around the campfire.

Tourists from different places come to Dolphin Bay every summer: from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, from Siberia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

I also placed this place on Google Maps and added some photos. Some people learned the coordinates of this place from the Internet and joined our company.

I will be glad if guests from other countries come to us. We will be happy to make a visit to their places too :sunglasses:

Half a century ago, a modern level of communication was not available and was described only in science fiction. Now, thanks to technological progress and the largest information companies, this is the norm.

I hope that all sorts of problems, like the closing borders between countries and the coronavirus, will not prevent us all from uniting. We will definitely overcome them and continue to recognize this beautiful world.
