Local Guides Program tough to explain how much it has helped me since I got involved 2 years ago. For me being a local guide means travelling, exploring and learning new cultures of different places.
Since I have been Involved in Google Local Guides Program I have started travelling a lot just to wander and explore new places I have become a kind of solo traveller. Infact I have explored my whole city which I was unable to do before the google Local guides program. Learning new cultures have always been a fascinating thing, I never thought of that I will be someday a part of something so global. Various cultures I have been indulged with in past few years is of the North East Culture in India, Culture in the Himalayas. I have always travelled domestically and Google Local guides have helped me in exploring good food in these places, new places which can be explored and my favourite is adding up new places.
And specifically speaking I love being A local guide not only because it helps me explore but after that I can help and guide others as well, the help which specifically I have provided is helping small cafe get listed on google maps marking new places etc. And finally the monthly emails from Google Local guide helps me to know how many people I have helped. Thank You Google for Bringing in Google Local guides.
