“Guide” is more than just a word for me, it holds a lot of importance simply because it gives me a sense of satisfaction that I am being able to help and give back to my community. Millions of people rely on Local guides like me for suggestions and reviews of places that they wish to visit, be it a newly opened restaurant or an unseen treasure of the city.
I am a big foodie and I love exploring places to eat, that is when I thought why not share this with the community as well. I started posting reviews and pictures of the places I visited and not only was this loved by people but also helped these businesses to get more visibility. I remember when I had posted a few pictures of a restaurant that I had visited in my city, It crossed 400k views and a few days later I got a message from the owner saying, “Thank you for your reviews, you’ve helped us immensely”. This brought me so much joy!
This program has helped me in so many ways. I take this little appreciation as blessings. I am proud to be a Local Guide!
