What Local Guide Program means to me

I would like to take this opportunity to say that ‘I am proud of being a Local Guide’ and I would like to thank Google for giving me an opportunity to become a Local Guide. It helps me to combine my passion with some social work.

I came across this program when I once got a recommendation from Google asking me to share my reviews about my city, its hotels, tourist places and to add some unlisted places. That’s how my journey started with this fantastic program. It has been inspiring me ever since as I have understood how I can help the travel community, help people understand about the places that they want to visit just by reading the reviews posted by me, help them decide on the places that they should visit and even help small businesses by making them understand the importance of building their online presence.

Being a local Guide has brought me much joy and it means so much to me in the areas of so many things making me aware of my environment and everywhere I go. Paying critical attention to things, objects and places and bring them on board via google maps so the whole world will benefit. I love reviewing places, answering questions from places I have visited and as a result shine the light on food, event parks, restaurants, hotels and great landscapes from interesting parts of my visits.

It keeps inspiring and encouraging me to travel remotest parts of my country as well as our lovely world. I have now traveled to more than 15 countries in Europe and South East Asia including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam etc. I have posted reviews, photos, edits about all the places that I have been to - this is what keeps me happy.
