What local guide means to me.

My first acquaintance with the program of local guides began with a search on Google maps of the place and the application to the route to it. After I began to read reviews and learned from them a lot of useful information about various places. On my first trip abroad, maps really helped me out, namely reviews and photos of places. This saved a lot of time and allowed to find interesting places, restaurants where deliciously cooked and shops.

I really like taking pictures and at some point the program suggested that I add photos and reviews to the map about the places I visited. And from that moment I began to share my impressions of the places I visited. It turned out to be a very exciting activity, which grew into my hobby. Now, I begin my trip planning by searching for interesting places using local guides. After all, it is local guides who can tell the best places in the city.

I make a list of places that I want to visit and mark them on the map. After the trip comes the most favorite moment - I begin to share photos and reviews. And I hope that my photos and reviews help people. Every month, reports about added information motivate me to share more. But sometimes it’s frustrating that the service limits the rights to add new places and video on maps for residents of Russia. And I really want to put things in order and add new places in my city so that it would be more convenient for people and they can find what they need.

I am very glad that I discovered this program and became a part of this community. Many thanks to the creators and all participants of Local guids - you help make the world more convenient and better, and this is an incredibly useful and necessary mission for the world.
