I want to tell you a little about my story. Unfortunately, a few years ago I lost my dear Grandmother. It was a car accident on Christmas day. It happened in front of her house. She was an exceptional woman who dedicated her life and love to the family and her, our home and has been my safe haven for a lifetime. A few years after her death I decided to start a new life and move to London and from there, I decided to take a sabbatical year to travel and get to know the world and bring her with me. I’m sure she watched over me all the time. I hope through my eyes that I have introduced her to incredible places that she had never seen for being always there for us and being the angel of the house and my mummy.
This is why being a traveller and a local guide means to me help other people to travel while they are home. Give them a little thing to dream about and a distractions if they can’t move. Give my contribution is very rewarding and I can also help small business to shine!
By the way @SaraRaimondo , Welcome to Connect. Have you had a chance to take a look at “Your guide at to connect.”? it’s a good starting point for this forum.
Are you applying for Connect Live 2020 with this post? If so, as part of the requirement, you need to write the post under Local Stories topic.
Hi @sparekh and yes, I applied to the contest. Thank you very much for your suggestion. I made the change, I did it after I send the application, it will be a problem do you think?
I have just released your post from the spam filters. I would like to apologize for your post being marked as spam. Our filters run 24/7 and they can be a little harsh at times.
Hi @TsekoV , thanks for your help, I was a little worried yesterday because I couldn’t find my post anymore.
Anyway as I used the link to apply to Connect Live 2020, before that, do you think that will be still valid? Or when you unlocked the page some on the link has change?
Thank you for your first post here! I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the Italian language tag of your post as it’s written in English. These types of labels are used so that posts in different languages can be found more easily by Local Guides who are speakers of these languages. You can learn more about language tags in the article: How do I find posts in my preferred language?.
