What Local Guide Means to Me : Loving myself, Travelling alot

The Local Guide such a great program since I know and start to using it. It has been the best part of my travelling life. To me, Local Guide is a big deal since, I decided to travel overseas. I realize the important thing i need the most, “What is the tool will make my journey easier?” And “How to get there faster?”. The Local Guide offers me an easier way to go overseas, exploring place I never know before. And lately, I have been travel to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and the last was Tokyo, Japan.

And back to my last travelling to Japan, I was well prepared for it. Because I did a backpacking trip with my sister. When I was preparing an itinerary, so that it could be my guidelines on trip. Before that, I read alot other local guide review about Tokyo. The Local Guide provides me almost everything that I want to know about Tokyo, even before I come to touch down the town. I have learned about transportation, local activities, best landmark in town, recommended food in Tokyo especially about halal food restaurant and so many good things. So, as my first step touch down in Tokyo, I wont get lost and enjoy my backpacking trip based on The Local Guide.

So, when I came to Ueno area by using local train (Spending the best time in Ueno based in The Local Guide) and by following the maps I could reached so many place in Ueno. The first thing was Ameyoko Shopping Street. I took a lot of picture and uploaded it on The Local Guide too. Here was some of my adventure in Ueno.

Caption: First look of Ameyoko Shopping Street welcoming and hunting for the food street. Welcoming yummy things.

Caption: My sister’s first bite on ice cream. She was craving for Green tea creamy ice cream. So mouthwatering!

Caption: Izakaya became my favorite place in Ueno. I came to try Sashimi for the first time and fall in love easily. I would never forget the original taste of it. Surely will come back soon!

Caption: Save the best for the last. Never forget to try the authentic food street in Japan, Takoyaki.

Hello @Putrikillua ,

Welcome to Connect!

Keep in mind that one of the requirements for Connect Live 2020 was to share your post on the Local Stories board. Just to let you know, I’ve moved your post there.

I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the Indonesian language label of your post as it’s written in English. These types of labels are used so that posts in different languages can be found more easily by Local Guides who are speakers of these languages. You can learn more about language tags in the article: How do I find posts in my preferred language?.
