Be a #localguide is about sharing, it is about love, it is about solidarity and recognition. You often circulate and have experiences with people and places you love and even hate. Leaving impressions and sharing those experiences and information with others in a selfless way is wonderful. It is an act of love for others, It is giving them security, allowing them to have a preliminary approach that allows them to enjoy. Is to recognize those who do things well too and to qualify them.
I love riding a bike, but being able to inflate the wheels is not an easy task, in my city. much less is free of charge.
That is why I made this list sharing important information for my route

I love traveling and seeing new places, and I could not conceive of doing it without scheduling my trip based on the recommendations and experiences of other users and travelers!
I was very insecure the first time I traveled alone to Brazil. Another language and another culture. But I decided to see what the place was like, where the important points were, what were the accesses and where was the public transport that was so close and what were the routes that they did. I was able to know and recognize the places thanks to the reviews, the maps and the street view. That experience is now my obligatory methodology, I have been in Uruguay, many other places in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, New York and Orlando.
And I am always my own tour guide, I trust more the experiences of other users than advertising or brochures.
I am a university professor and researcher in computer science and I specialize in making educational videos for elarning. Being a local guide is not a very widespread activity in my city, and even many do not recognize or understand its importance. I am always constantly in my circles explaining my vision about the importance of creating collective or collaborative knowledge and appreciation.
I am very satisfied when I receive notifications from #googlemaps saying you are popular, your photos and comments help others. Blow my mind how many people I’m helping and how many are seeing my reviews and photos, sometimes those numbers leave me dumbfounded.
