The standar sack is 25 kgs, 10 kgs, and 5 kgs.
In retail in my home town is not using weight as unit of measure, the unit of measure is litre, for volume.
The sandard are half litre, two litre and five litre
Years ago the rice hawker selling rice by walking on food from one kampoong to another kampong in two woven bamboo bucket covered with asphalt.
The cover of asphalt is to prevent rain drop water when they sell,
Usuall they bring half litre, one litre, and two lit litre measuring tube.
After the rice being pour to the measuring tube the rice hawker sliding top area of the measuring tube using round stick with the length a little bit longer than the diameter of two litre measuring tube.
How about if the customer want to buy 20 litre.
Customer should give a bucket for the rice that the customer buy.
He start counting with a song to make a rythm.
So both side the rice hawker and the customer aware about the counting.

Me paso que en Argentina, en el norte, la banana o plátano , se comercializa por unidad de docena y en el sur del pais se comercializa por Kilogramo.

It is primarily in kg and rest is by using judgement.
When we had to buy 25 kg rice from the corner supplies shop in my area, the jute bags were standard of 50 kg, the owner would open the bag and empty half by the judgment to which both parties would agree since we had trust.
There was no 25 kg weighing scale but he could have measured in 10kg twice and then 5 kg more, but we left it to trust and judgment which has worked well for decades now since we are staying in the same place for 35 years now and the shop and the shopkeeper are still the same.
