Thanks for this post. My Local Guide experience is good as always. I feel responsible on being a Local Guide. We are facilitating others by our contribution which in turn facilitate ourselves. I have many experiences being a Local Guide. One of the experience is, when I was in a Local Guides Meetup and sailing in Boat, I took many photos. At that time, a respectable person next to me said that, Are you Local Guides? And I said yes. It was an amazing experience for me to be recognized as Local Guides.This post is about experience as a Local Guide which I shared months ago. Happy Guiding !

One of the reason of Connect is exactly the sharing of experiences of being a local guide. So you are in the right place (even if in the wrong board) “Mapping-Your-World” is a boar for helping and asking /giving information about the use of Google Maps.

  • Need Help: The help area give you a lot of solutions if you need to “know how to …”

  • Explore the Forum menu, to see what the various sections are about. You will find many interesting parts regarding, for example, meet-up, or photographic technique.

  • In this section we post photos enriched with our story.

  • Give to the post a descriptive title

  • Introduce yourself to the community, tell us about you.

As an extra tips, i would suggest you to Search the community before posting as the same subject can be already being discussed.
