Persepolis is my country’s top tourist attraction
Persepolis was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (ca. 550–330 BC). It is situated 60 km northeast of the city of Shiraz in Fars Province, Iran.
Shiraz is situated in the Southern Center part of Iran. it has a mountainous climate, and it is known as a 4-season province. beautiful though each season is, the mind-blowing spring is the high season. since its mild and pleasant weather doesn’t have a duplicated in the entire world. conversely, the scorching summer is the low one. while the temperature gets up to more than 30 degrees of centigrade, the number of tourists dwindles to a handful.
The average temperature in July (the hottest month of the year) is 30 degrees Celsius, in December (the coldest month of the year) is 5 degrees Celsius, in April it is 17 degrees Celsius and in October it is 20 degrees Celsius and the average annual temperature is 18 degrees Celsius. The annual rainfall of Shiraz is 337.8 mm.
The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to 515 BC. It exemplifies the Achaemenid style of architecture. UNESCO declared the ruins of Persepolis a World Heritage Site in 1979.
There are many restaurants near Persepolis and you can visit tourist attractions such as Pasargad, Naghsh-e Rostam, and Naghsh-e Rajab next to Persepolis.
