Travelling is what most of the people love. Being a local guide we also travel from place to place. As we travel we boost up our knowledge to the new dimension. While returning back from travelled place to the original place our devices become full of digital memories and our mind full of knowledge. But that is not enough. We also buy sosome gifts for us and our dear ones too. In Nepal handicrafts, being not so costly and exposing Nepali art, are always been a major choice for foreigners and travellers. What are the things that can be brought as a gift from your country?
Nice post bro @BishowvijayaP
It is always difficult to get right/appropriate gift of visiting place for your near and dear person, if you travelling alone it is a major task.
Vijay Desai.
Nice video and interesting topic, @BishowvijayaP ![]()
I think that there are many good gifts that can be bought when visiting Argentina, it depends on the part of the country you visited and the person for which the gift is for. If the person likes food and sweets, in every province you can get a jar of dulce de leche (something similar to caramel), alfajores (a sort of big cookie filled with dulce de leche) or other treats filled with dulce de leche. I believe that products made in leather or a kit to make mate (a common drink similar to tea) can also be a good present.
In the province of Mendoza there are great wines and jams to gift, and other provinces have their own traditional products which also make good gifts.
Hello @BishowvijayaP
A perfect gift from Australia, all around Australia are magnificent Opals.
For men stunning cufflinks, men’s bracelets or necklaces, office desk decorations, and so much more.
For women all sorts of beautiful jewellery, including stunning rings, necklaces, earrings and lovely desk ornaments or house decorations too.
On a Shop like a Local Google Maps Local Guides YouTube film segment I went on we discovered an incredible delightful shop called Opal Minded in a place on Sydney’s Harbour called The Rocks.
See the Google Photos album here.
Such adorable gifts for everyone!
Shine on in your own select unique Opal Minded Gifts from Sydney Australia.

@BishowvijayaP it varies from person to person what souvenir and gifts should be picked…

@JustineOBrien
Hello @FaridTDF
Thank you for your contribution here. You @Jesi , @Surendra and @BishowvijayaP are all right in saying that gift selection is always unique to whom you are selecting for. There are so many gifts unique for each country also.
I think you have a very good selection in choosing wine and cheeses as these are definitely exceptional gifts that are always different as per the areas they are from.
Artistic gifts are a great idea also. Each is always a specialist gift from the artist and the country you are visiting.
Do you have favourite gifts given to you, if so what are they and what country did you get them from?, Can you show us on Google Maps as well? Please let us know @Ivi_Ge , @MashaPS, @JavieraAu, and @HelloSamsonR , @AkmalB, .
With kind regards
@BishowvijayaP sometimes if someone is going overseas we would pass on something like these I know my Grandmother use to me things like these, These are fridge magnets.
These are Aboriginal Boomerangs they throw them into the air and spin around and come back but these are displayed only.
Or Kangaroo Keyrings
Thank you so much bro @NareshDarji . ![]()
Hehe @VijayDesai , be cool and select the one you wish for. Gift is about to present by your will, not by other’s demand. ![]()
You are right @Jesi . The variety of gift varies from place to place. But I don’t wish gift as a food item because after one eats no gift remains, only the rememberance. Hahaha. But giving a food item can be proper utilization of gift as it doesn’t take room’s space and there is no cance of throwing it.
Thank you so much for sharing some gifts from your country. ![]()
This is great @Justine2807 . I have heard open minded but here comes the additional term opal minded.
I like this. I also like to watch opal minded people. So when get a chance to visit the Aus, one opal for my mum will be bought. Thanks for sharing!

** @Surendra as you travel you should buy that gift which represents the place. For example if you go to USA and while returning you buy something in Nepal that I like then it wouldn’t be gift anymore. Please pick the gift that suitably represents the place you visit.

Thanks for your opinion @FaridTDF . I hope you will buy that gift which represents the speciality of that place.
Hey @DavidTito , be here anytime so that we could go together for shopping. Gifts are waiting you. ![]()
Thank you so much @Julien44 for the link. France is multicultural country and of course it has many gifts to buy. I’ll check them. ![]()
