Once I had been to Dalhousie where me and friends decided to go towards Panchkula (place near Dalhousie). The snow was every where and the place to track the mountain was almost blocked because of snow but we wanted to climb go to the top of the hill where we can reach the Temple but the way was not easy.
We started upwards without any guide to explore the place and at that time I was 86kg and my friends were not that much healthy as I used to be. They were covering ground and distance more than me. Suddenly group of local old ladies went passed us and they were also climbing faster than me even when they were about 60 years old.
Everyone reached the top hill and I even can’t see my people on the way. I was alll alone on the track then suddenly I heard a voice of something jumped from a tree or not sure from which object that triggered my attention towards the action area and you people can’t imaging what I saw? It was a SNOW LEOPARD standing in front of me few 20meters away from me.
I was shocked as I saw the leopard first time in life and in it’s natural habitat. That was one of the intresting thing in my life which triggered me that much, I climved the cliff so fast which I never thought of doing so.
This incident also taught me one lession that you should stay fit and healthy that you can’t feel difficulty in climbing such cliffs at that age and since then I started doing workouts , go out for runnig daily for around 3.7kms. And now I have maintained my weight and currently I am 70kg.
So travelling always teach you some lession
I have attached some pics of mine when we were climbing the cliff
