What is the most interesting thing you've done as a Local Guide?

The most interesting thing I did as a local guide was to literally act as a travel guide to my friends who came to visit my current city Bangalore. The planning was started a few months before the dates are set.

It was a group of 7 people and I had to attend things like from stay to food for them. Plus they had high expectations on the trip.

As I started listing out places in Google maps a lot of confusion arose. When some of them preferred to see museums others wanted to cycle in a park or wander around the street. I had to come up with a plan that includes all of their interests. So I list the list I made and shared with them. Thanks to the google map I could get votes fo to decide my final plan. It came to boil down to this: 2-day wanderlust in Bangalore.

I was able to cover almost all the major attractions of Bangalore in two days ( photos ).

We used public transport only. And when there were nearby spots in one area we walked and explored.

Fellow local guides helped me in choosing the route and I was able to guide them without any worries.

They went back to their own places with a lot of satisfaction and happy memories.
