I share knowledge via photos, simple. I have uploaded thousands of photos of places I’ve been too. “I wish my photos be the eyes for someone”. I keep filling Google Maps with helpful photos. It is the most interesting thing I’ve done being a local guide.
Well, I am a hobbyist photographer, so naturally I capture photos every now and then. I like to roam in my city, Jaipur and keep capturing photos randomly. Also I am a food lover and like to explore food. My main preference is affordable yet experimental food, and local food. So I have taken thousands of photos of every possible cafe I’ve been to. Not just food, but when I visit world famous walled city of Jaipur (which was the core Jaipur when it was founded in 1727 and still is) I take shots. I make videos too. On my profile there numerous photos of heritage sites such as Sisodiya Rani ka bagh, Amer fort, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City palace etc. And everybody loves food, so I have uploaded photos of cafes of Jaipur like Brown Sugar, Chool, Nibs, DZurt etc. And these are just to name a few.
I just do not upload photos of food and sites, I share photos of everything. My hobby makes me happy and nothing can be best if someone gets to know some place without or before going there. There can be many different ways you can help make this world a better place, sometimes it can be just a hand of help. In my opinion, it is my a small gesture to help people gain knowledge; and make their travel best. Google Maps is just a tool with which we can make this world’s locations in reach of everyone and I’m pretty happy to be a part of it.
