Helped a Local Business expand and flourish with success.
- It all started when I visited a Home Stay at a tourist place. The home stay was bit different a from the other hotels and stays. It was at the top of a hill and there were no proper directions available, not even on google maps.
- The owner directed us on phone. The owner of the property was not technologically advanced. After coming to the location, I checked on Google Maps and the business was not listed. I wanted others also to visit this beautiful property and enjoy it. After finishing our stay over there, I immediately added it on Google Maps along with the photos and videos I had clicked. I also added the walking trail and road so that people can reach the stay easily.
- After a few days I noticed that my photos were getting more views. The number of people visiting had increased because of the photos and roads I had added for that place.
- A week later I got a call from the owner and he thanked me for adding the place on google maps and he also told me that he was getting more business just after I added his place on the maps. The owner also said that he no longer has to tell people directions, they follow the maps and come directly. Listening tho this I felt proud of being a local guide and helping a local business grow.
