Hi everyone. Im from Guayaquil, Ecuador. The most interesting thing I have done as a Local Guide is to share my experience as a user of Old bussiness and for the entrepreneurs that opens their bussiness as a dream.
As a medical doctor, Im very picky in most of the services that one can offer in Google maps. I started to measure what it means each star of the grading systems that fits me in my sharings. Well, I will share with you how I decided to grade my experience as a local guide:

First Star: Address - In this step I see if the store / restaurant has a easy way to be find out. If the location is well positioned in the Map because its very important that people need to know how to locate your spot.

Second Star: Location / Security: This aspect, in many parts of the world, is a very important issue to grade. The security that I search for is the location has a good garage where the vehicule could be save, if they have guards for protection of the customers. Also, if the enviroment I will be staying has all the safety for kids and disable persons, looking up elevator, wheelchair roads, etc. Usually most of the locations I grade with 2 stars has this two points.

Third Star: Quality of product / service: I think this is the best part of the grading because in here, I will grade every aspect of the product / service. I need a place to be aware of you in every moment. I have been in some restaurants that you have to wait too much for a bad quality food. In here, the product I measured in quality, taste, amount for the price they offer.

Fourth Star: Time of Response: Im very respectfull of each persons TIME. This is the only thing that cannot be changed or recovered. Time of response of a bussiness has too be the most important trade of small bussiness. How they salute you, how long you stay in the waiting room only to get a seat, or even once you are sit on how long you wait to take the order or even the bill. I know that each location has their time of response, but the attention you give the client will be always the little difference of old bussiness with the new ones.

Fifth Star: Customer Service: MUST HAVE in every location I visited. I travel a lot in Latin AMerica and I love to be ask how the service or the personal treated you. The way of the personal how they say Hi, the way they see you at the counter even when they say good -bye. Personal relationships are as the same as bussiness relationships, IF you always look up for the best for the other person; they will always come back to buy your product. Its very comfortable to know that someone is waiting to hear good news from you.
Hope this scale of grading helps other to see how I like to grade as a Local Guides.
Im very open for new visions of grading, I will like that Google maps can guide the chance of giving Half star because I will have a real way to check on the location I visited.
