I started as a Local Guide two years ago and now I’m level 6.
I began to leave reviews almost by chance and I noticed that every time I traveled I looked for reviews of local guides from each city and I understood the importance of knowing opinions from the locals.
So, I decided to start writing about the places I like most in my city and the places I visit on my vacation to help other people in the same way that they help me with the reviews of other local guides.
I think the most interesting thing that has happened to me as a Local guide is the fact that I have become a tourist in my city, knowing places that perhaps I did not realize before existed. I also like to go out to eat and in my city, there are many restaurants and cafes, so I really enjoy meeting new places and leaving reviews for other people to enjoy a good meal during their visit.
