The most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide was adding photos on google maps of hiking areas that had no photos yet available on google maps. I believe places nowadays tend to be attracted to newcomers if they have a photo or photos in the google maps listing so that’s why I especially target places that have minimal or no photos in the google maps listing in order for me to be the one to add high quality photos.
