As someone who enjoys being a local guide, I feel privileged to bring awareness to my community and local businesses. I believe people are looking for information that helps them have pick the right businesses for their needs, especially if they’re from out of town. I know that when I visit a new city, I’m always looking for reviews to help guide my decisions. With all of that in mind, I realized the city I live in doesn’t have a whole lot of reviews and businesses are constantly popping up and my area. I took it upon myself to spend 2 days wandering around the city I live in and reviewing businesses. It was sort of a small staycation if you will. Although most of my motivation was to bring my local guides score up, I really enjoyed the responses from the businesses that I reviewed. Managers and business owners we’re glad to have someone talking about their business and giving feedback on their services. It made me feel more connected to the places I love and enjoy.
