Opening up a whole new world to my grandmother. She was unable to leave her house in her last years, and I showed her google maps. On we went to streetview which absolutely blew her mind. We visited the school she went to as a kid virtually over 70 years prior to see how it changed, she took me on a virtual walk back to where her home used to be and discussed how she used to cycle in the summer amongst the autumn leaves back from school. It’s my favourite moment I’ve ever had with her and I’m glad I got to spend some time with her to learn about her life before she left this world. Thank you Google!
