the most interesting thing i have done till date as a local guide was a long time ago - when i was a college grad student, i had gone to visit a place of historic value in hyderabad and while visiting the place, i met a few tourists who were looking for a guide for the trip, I joined them and became their tour guide and clarified all their doubts and helped them as and when they needed one. when their trip finished - they asked me how much do they need to pay for this guided trip. I told them that I am just a college student who came here for a visit only and was not looking for any earnings. they can keep their money and just enjoy their tour in the country for whatever duration they are here for…and then without taking any money from them i left them in awe…
