So the most interesting this that happened to me as a Local Guide was when a person could recognize me as a Local Guide from one of the post along with the images I posted with it and he mentioned how my post helped him select the correct place for him to get the job done and that was when I realized the impact of the contributions which we make that affects real lives of people and their decisions. This really felt nice to get to know about a happy user and that we are headed in the right direction.
One other thing that I found to be very proud of was when once because of a work in progress road the vehicles(mainly cabs) had to go back and turn around to take some other route so I faced the same issue, that was when I mentioned that road on Google Maps to be a work under progress road which led to the cabs not showing the route through that road and people could reach at places on time.
