As a Local Guide, I feel honored to be a part of such a great initiative from Google that lets people like me input their experiences and document them through are reviews and ratings which help other potential visitors in knowing about places they’ve never visited in the past. It’s a great feeling to see your photos and reviews getting such healthy feedback and now that my photos are about to receive almost a million views, I’m more motivated than ever before to continue this endeavor.
The most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide is that I visited a place called Hiran Minar recently which is a historical but forgotten site located approximately 100km away from my place. I added pictures of the place and soon after I did so, I started seeing the interest of a large number of people in it. It was a really good and interesting experience for me.
