I’m from Vietnam, but I’m currently live in Houston, Texas with family. For me, the most interesting thing I have done as a Local Guide is to help new businesses to update their information on Google Maps. For example, I knew that there would be a new Kung Fu Tea store opening soon in my area, so I went directly to the store to ask for information such as opening date, phone number, and website. I also took pictures in and outside the store. By the time that store opened, it already had all the information updated on Google Maps.
The Local Guides program means a lot to me because I have many chances to help customers and businesses throughout the area in Houston. Also, I really like taking pictures and that allows me to post pictures and update reviews about places. For me, helping many people with the information they need, especially for people with disabilities is such an honor for me. I would love to contribute more in the Google Local Guides program to help more and more people around the world.
