Hey guys, didn’t know at some point, I will be sharing this story, because unknown to me, I was just doing it due to the type of person I am. I just sign up for things/do things for doing sake & also help out as much as possible as long what’s needed is within my disposal… So long story short, this whole thing start since last 2 years, I notice that most especially towards Yuletide that’s when I get random calls and messages. These calls & messages at first were kinda strange, to tell you the length people will go to get information about something & how to go about it.
So December 24th 2018 I got a message on WhatsApp from someone saying a saw my pictures & videos on Local Guide & need assistance with something, & when I asked how he got my number, he told me he looked it up on Instagram & decided to beep me. So that settled I said okay no qualms, how may I be of assistance, & he said he just bought tickets to Wizkid’s Fest & Davido’s Concert, & needed a quick route & direction to where the events are held. & I said okay, what part of Lagos are you coming from precisely & he said Ikorodu; which is on the mainland part of Lagos. Then I told him since it will be an all night event, & they might probably get drunk or something, that he should board a ferry from Ikorodu, & when he gets to Leventis he should pick Bolt & pick me up from my office, because I work at the Globacom Customer Care Center just opposite Silverbird Cinemas along Ahmadu Bello Way Victoria Island.
& when they got to my office I boarded with them to Eko Atlantic/Eko Hotels to show them the venue for the events respectfully, & they were very grateful… Because funny enough with the little time I spent with them talking, I got to know we’re mates, but that they’ve lived probably a decade & half of their lives in UK, but were in the state to visit Grandma for Christmas & since these events are taking place why not just go with the fun cos it seems as the appropriate time. They also offered to get me a ticket so I could enjoy the concert with them as well, but I told them I would definitely like to get back to work, because though twas midnight I was still at work & been Boxing Day, I need to go visit my mom at Ijegun part of Ikotun. So I didn’t want my plans ruined & they totally understood… So I told them just in case they couldn’t go back to Ikorodu because Davido’s Concert was just few hours away, I gave them list of cheap 4 star hotels within the vicinity they could lodge before the show & they were short of words… Asking if I’m being paid by Google for the service I said absolutely not, just did it out of you know, & that I like connecting with new people. & we exchanged numbers & still keep in touch once in a while… So many more such as this has happened after then. Some might call for an address that isn’t really reflecting on the map because it’s a close street & they didn’t want to zoom further, lots & lots like that… But its being fun if I must say, because you know Lagos & the things that goes on here, I still take such risks because I’m an adventurous person, & like to see how things unfold 
I just love it, its being a total experience on its own…
