What is the most interesting thing I've done as a Local Guide?

The most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide is found out more interesting places after I add and modify places on Google Map.

As bilingual travel Vlogger I depend on Google Map a lot to plan my trip, I have to search for the hotel, places to visit, hotel to stay and things to eat on the destination once I booked the flight. That will make me to return to the venue again and make a better vlog to post in different languages video.

What about you, will you go back to the same places on a trip?

Hi Jim, yeah i really want to go to singapore, because when I got there the merlion statue was being repaired. Most people say that if you do not see the Merlion statue, it is considered not yet to Singapore. So the following year I went there, of course with the help of Google Maps.

Hi @JimTan !

I think this your post is intended to participate in Connect Live 2020, right? If so, you entered it in the wrong section of the forum, so I recommend you change it to make sure everything is smooth:

  • Your post should use the Local Stories topic

  • You have to change the topic label simply pressing the three blue dots on the post and choosing “edit message

  • Now you can choose the right label for this post: these labels are showed on the top, you have to choose the “Local Stories” ( you must be sure that “Local Stories” is highlighted in blue)

  • Once you have selected the right label, you just have to press “Save changes” on the bottom right.

  • You’re done! :grinning:

Oh yeah~ And also take photo with the Marina Bay Sands hotel.

I think the time you visit the Merlion is having a special pop up hotel thing, it was covered up and made into a hotel :stuck_out_tongue:
