While there are numerous people for adding new information, there are very few who would update on changes on current places like change of places, closures and updating correct location information. A supermarket had closed and a new supermarket was opened in the same exact location which wasn’t updated, so this was rectified and updated by me. This updation gives people clarity. Same like that another business was permanently closed and was not updated in maps. I updated the information.
Another business location was not correct, as a guide and a user of maps I updated the location.
As a guide correcting misinformation and updating outdated information are the things that I do to keep maps up-to date and user friendly.
