Myself Burhanuddin Ali, I am a Level 8 Local Guide from India. Two of my main hobbies are Travelling and Photography. Being a local guide I love to add photographs taken by me on Google Maps and it makes me feel proud when my Photos are featured by Google Maps and viewed by millions. One interesting thing about me is that i am a Monk and i stay at an Ashram (Sort of Hindu Monastery). Ours is an International spiritual organisation with more than 4500 branches in 137 Countries. Hence I love to add Pictures of our Meditation Centers & Retreat places on Google Maps to let people know more about our organisation.
Our main Ashram is Shantivan Campus which is in near Mount Abu, India. Shantivan is my home and I live here. Every year our organisation organizes hundred of Meditation Retreats, National & International Conferences, Seminars and workshops on various topics. Hence millions of people from whole India and World come to this place whole year so Google maps is the best tool to guide them Properly.
Heart of this beautiful campus is the Diamond Hall that can seat more than 20K people. This hall is one of its kind without any pillar with all modern facilities including translation facilities in more than 20 languages at a time.
In this campus there is accommodation facility for around 20K people, there is a mega kitchen that is capable of cooking 50K meals at a time and a four Storied dining to feed such a large crowd. The most interesting fact about our organization is that we do not charge anything for any of our services. Hence all our Events free of cost to attend.
One of the greatest achievements of our organisation is that we have our own large scale Solar Power Plant named India One Solar Thermal Power Plant. This massive plant fulfills all the power need of our campus.
I love to contribute more and more on Google maps as I travel a lot to many places. I Usually add new Photos to nearly all the Tourist destinations, Airports, Railway Stations, Malls and others…
