There is a Starbucks near my apartment.
It is on the first floor of a two-story building, and the second floor is a dentist.
Mitaka City, where I live, is famous for having more dentists than supermarkets and convenience stores.
There are at least eight walk-in dentists in my neighborhood.
In Japan, most Starbucks are near train stations. They are very convenient but always crowded and they don’t have enough space between tables.
But the Starbucks near my apartment has a drive‐through system and there is a large parking lot. There is also a lot of space inside so it can accommodate many people without getting too crowded.
Unfortunately they were closed because of the Corona virus but recently they opened again. We can’t stay in the shop, their service is for take out only.
Yesterday my sister asked me to get her a drink from Starbucks and she said that I could get my favorite drink with her money.
It was good, but I am on a diet so I decided to buy the lowest calorie drink in Starbucks.
I did a Google search and found an article about the top 10 low-calorie drinks in Starbucks.

- Caffe Misto 126kcal

What the hell, I never bought from this menu.
Tea is the best drink if I consider calories, but…. it’s no longer Starbucks for me.
Starbucks is a special place for me to buy a Frappuccino with cream.
This list also has a mango frappuccino and a coffee frappuccino, but these drinks have no cream, that’s why their calorie is low.
However…Frappuccino without cream is like the 25th of December without Christmas trees.
I wanted to buy a drink at Starbucks that made me feel happier.
After all that, I decided to buy the lowest calorie item from my favorite drinks list.
My favorite Starbucks tall drinks list
Caffé Mocha 391kcal
Caramel Frappuccino 272kcal
Matcha(Green tea) Frappuccino 310kcal
Vanilla Cream Frappuccino 218kcal
It was a shock that two of my favorite drinks exceeded 300 kcal.
Especially I had a healthy image of the green tea flavored drink, but it had a lot of calories.
So I decided to order the last one.
When I went to the store, four customers were already waiting their turn in line.
The queue positions were written on the floor with tape, and there was a wide space between the numbers.
Most Japanese stores look like this now to avoid the Corona virus.
The Starbucks drink I bought was very delicious because I hadn’t had it for a long time.
