I’ve been trying to respond to a private message someone sent me, but I keep getting the message that I can’t send one a private message at this time. What are the limits on private messages and how do I reset my numbers?

I don’t think there is a great limit as such. I read once that it’s 30 seconds per message limit. In the reality it could be 3-5 per hour even counting your failed attempts. It happened to me sometime ago. It generally rectifies itself.
Please what error are you getting could you kindly share ? If its the general limit thing, please be patient it will correct itself.

@MortenCopenhagen @MortenCopenhagen I’m having this same issue today. I’m responding to a longer message, so I copied the message to notes to respond to all points in the message in notes app, then copied and pasted my response back. It keeps giving me the max message met for over an hour now. I’ve cached, closed windows on all browsers, etc. Can one of you guys check this for me?
Did you try logging out and in again?
Deni mentioned the max is 5 per minute!

Can you please force a log-out from Connect on your device by clicking on the Sign out button? Then clear browser cookies and cache, log back in. Deni proposed these techniques on another post of the same problem.

@MortenCopenhagen @SholaIB , Yes I signed out, cleared cache, history, cookies. I even removed localguidesconnect.com from shortcuts, my homepage and books mark bar. I removed emojis, one link to face book from my text content to no avail. I tried to copy the text content I wrote from the notes application to mac and dell desktop. When I right click it only gives options to copy image. Local guides connect does finds errors in the html and thinks I’m spamming I guess. I copied notes text on my Iphone with no issue and sent to gmail desktop to respond to the message which has successfully went through. Hopefully, I am not flagged or underscored as a user by the model accepting or refusing traffic on this site. The issue seems to be with the notes app itself.

Trying to keep up on Mac, IOS, Android, Chromium is time consuming. Nonetheless, Thanks for the help and quick responses. Any future tips on updating OS for Local Guides URL or switching between systems for the site is always appreciated. If you guys have a suggestion for a universal text writer that works as well that would be great. I typically use notes, but appears changes are under way.
