What is the food and drink that you like the most in your country?

Hello good morning. I wanted to share with you a typical dish in Spain that I really like and the typical drink that I usually drink and I think it is drunk in all corners of the world haha, yes, beer.
The food I share is: Arroz a banda, a typical rice dish from Valencia, very similar to paella, but I personally like it better. What would yours be? Thank you :man_cook:

Hi @VEMADBR thank you for sharing this. Look very delicious. Sadly i’m not dring beer, whether beer is the main ingredient or can it be replaced with other alternatives?

Hi @VEMADBR

In France it is quite difficult to select one preferred dish as I like tons of them, but I would mention especially the beef stew (Boeuf Bourguignon) and duck confit (confit de canard du Sud ouest), with some red wine of course such as Saint Emilion or Chardonnay whihc are budget friendly.

@Ismi_Choirunnisa Hello good morning. First of all, thank you for your comment. I think I translated it wrong, beer is the accompaniment to the dish, like water. It is not an ingredient that you should add to rice, sorry for the confusion. I understand that in many countries, due to their religion, drinking alcohol is not allowed, but it can be a refreshing drink that you like to accompany your main dish, like a juice. To make this rice, I recommend that you first make a tomato sauce, add a little olive oil if possible, heat it and once hot add the chopped onion and tomato, when it is boiling add the hard rice and You stir for a while, then you add fish broth until it covers and you would only have to wait for the rice to absorb all the liquid. In the last minutes you put the heat on maximum so that the tomato forms a crust under the rice, very delicious.

@Ismi_Choirunnisa I’m sure it will turn out very delicious, you already know that rice cannot be left alone, because when you stop looking, it has already absorbed all the broth haha. I also have to say that your country is prices, I was in Bali, Lombok and Labuan Bajo. The paradise, the people, the food and the nature there are incredible. By the way, I learned how to make Nasim Goreng, delicious. Terima kashi
