You can always write a lot of beautiful words and sentences or make chic photos for Instagram. But as it often happens, the reality might be quite different from how others presented it to us and all that beauty presented in words and photos will in fact turn out to be just a fantasy. That’s why I prefer not to use Instagram, where most people tend to turn their feeds into a beatified representation of reality, which is attractive but might lead to frustration after discovering them live.
As for Google maps, I do not pursue the goal to focus on any one particular segment, like restaurants or cinemas, but I try to convey in my comments as honest as possible my impression of all those locations I visited, whether it’s a cafe, a shop or any another interesting place. I think a review with a simple photo, but with an honest feedback gives other users much more useful information about the places where they would like to hit, because then they understand much better what they can expect.
