There was a time when It was very difficult to have the information, and specially in Argentina have the money, to plan a trip. Since social media had arrived and make themselves popular, there are lots of blogs and webs where we can surf through general information and random tips, and make our traveling dreams possible.
But, what is still pretty difficult to find, is specific and neutral information about costs and values, and the big amount of possibilities available for the same activity. So, one of the things I love to do as a Google Local Guide is to provide exact information about prices and different and affordable options, to make all of those things that we think we can’t afford become real, and open it for everybody.
I’m and explorer from a country with a undeveloped economy. There are a few rich families here but, sadly, I’m not a one of those, and I made myself a promise, since my first time outside my city: I’ll never let the lack of money, or the social situation, ban me from the chance of explore the world. Even if I’m on a trip really far away, oder I’m walking through my city, I’m dedicated to find and provide precise information about the costs and the options to make everything affordable to everybody. It could sound stupid but, here, in Argentina, there is so many people who is afraid about trips, and they usually asks to close people for advices, but what is a short budget for some, could be an enormous budget for the other. This is the place from I stood myself when I made that decision: what I need is precise information about numbers, so I’m going to provide the same, because I have a strong feeling and a determined thought that this World is open for everybody. It is not about the money, It’s about defeating fears and breaking the limits.
