I’m always excited to share Restaurant information on Google Maps as this would help people make more informative decision on where and what to eat through Google Maps. First I write reviews about restaurants wherever I go whether it is with my family or alone, I try to make my reviews as comprehensive as possible by including my opinion and my family members opinions about the dishes we tried, I rate the service speed and friendliness, in addition I give an idea about the seating areas whether it is indoor or outdoor and which kind of decoration is it. Also I evaluate the prices in general and compared to the food quality.
Second whenever I find the restaurant I’m visiting is missing on Google maps I submit an addition in Google Maps App using my mobile, this would allow people to search for it and to reach them easily, also I add missing information to existing restaurants such as phone number, working hours and web sites, in addition to this I suggest edits to incorrect information.
Third I add photos of the storefront of restaurants in order to ease for the people to find the place when seeing it while walking or driving also I take photos of the dishes we took to give a real idea about how they look and in addition I take photos of the seating areas to both the indoor and outdoor areas to give better idea about the restaurant atmosphere. One of the main challenges I face while taking the photos of the restaurants is to avoid taking photos of people to avoid privacy issues.
