Sometimes life just surprises you with something. You are hungry and try a new restaurant or and old cafe you have never seen before and you have find on Google maps . You enter these places in a hurry or because you have a “need” and when you sit down, enjoy your meal you start realizing how beautiful they are, how nice their Owenrs are, which creative interior they have or how amazing their food is etc.
Eploring my home town
I moved out of my home town some years ago. The reason: We wanted to live in a small village, with horses around us. I love it, but since then I am not “up to date” when going out with friends or when I need a place to get some coffee. In Vienna a lot of new spaces are opening up every month and sometimes I feel like completely lost when looking for a new place - so I use Google maps to find the places around me and look up if there is anything new that I need to try. Love this! I like to find new places, small cafes, boutique hotels, funny shops and things that arent so well known. I wantto help those expectcular small businesses to get some more customers - that why I write abut them as a blogger, give them some credits, rate them, etc. To make them more visible.
When travelling
I loooove to travel. Its my passion and I love to get lost when I am in a foreign city. But at the same time I hate to be hungry in an unknown city, because it happens a lot that you end up in a restaurant thats really touristy and expensive. Thanks to Google maps I can manage to fin the right restaurant, read what others say about it and it guides me to the place. Thats a service! I am really thankful for those people like me that like to share their experiences on the web and help me to find beautiful small shops and restuarants everywhere with some finger prints.
my ideas aorund a good day
I love to give people ideas what they could do in my city or in a city I have been and share my expriences with them. So they can enjoy the short time they are in a city to the fullest. Depending on what they are looking for they can just follow my list and see what I have seen. So when in Vienna for example you might need to eat a Schnitzel, drink some Veltliner, get a Sacher cake, visit the Albertina, have a run through the Prater, watch the amazing horses, walk up to the “heaven” and so on.
It makes travelling and finding new places much easier.
