I think the first time i came across local guides was when i had an awful experience eating out and the manager cared so little about our bad experience that everyone decided to go online and leave them a bad review to warn people to avoid the place, which we found was one of many once we actually looked and that began my personal journey to sharing and reading reviews. I love to share the good ones, the ones that make you smile, the ones that people like and recommend and thank you for after they’ve had a great time too. slightly less eager to share the bad, i hate the idea that anyone might get in trouble over my critiques but at the same time if i share my bad experience perhaps it will help the establishment learn from their mistakes or otherwise save someone else an unpleasant time in my beloved city or anywhere else. i travel a lot. i eat out a lot. i shop a lot. i like going to events and galleries and theatre and random pop-ups. so for all its worth i hope my little two cents help.
