What I love the most about sharing on Google Maps.

I love using Google Maps to share the beautiful places to visit in Taipei that are unknown to most people. These places are like hidden gems because most tourists won’t be able to find these places on social media. Due to the rising prevalence of Instagram, Snapchat, and other social media, many tourism places are being overrated. This causes a situation where most tourists visit “mediocre” places when they come to Taiwan, when there are locations with better scenery. I personally introduce remarkable hiking trails, ranging from beginner to professional levels, depending on how often they go hiking. I hope to share some real great spots with everyone, because I want others to know that Taipei isn’t only a concrete jungle, but also an eco-rich place surrounded by amazing views. For example, most people think of Xindian as a densely populated district with heavy traffic, seldom know that with a 10-minute walk, you can watch the fireflies and the enjoy the astonishing river bank. I am eager to share this interesting co-existence with the world.
