I’m Stephen from Taiwan, in the past 10 plus years I have had been working in APAC and traveling more than 50 countries. Now I have been working in Japan since 2015.
I believe you guys have similar experience like when you are traveling around, just want to find a place where is popular for local people and may not on guidebook.
But sometimes all the information are in local language. So disappointed isn’t it?
So I started using Google map to record my travel and local experience and also share it in English to help people explore the area. Especially when I moved to Japan, I found there are a lot of information have been shared in Japanese but less in English.
And guess what? My reviews were also viewed by local people and some of them gave me positive feedbacks. I am so surprised and exciting!
So who can be a local? Everyone can be a local by sharing local information, and that is the fundamental to make our world better.
