What I love the most about sharing on Google Maps.

Am passionate about photography and travel. I love sharing the photos of all places I visit and give objective reviews of my experiences both in writing and in pictures. Being an avid amateur photographer, I love taking photos that have life and tell a story. For example, during a friend’s birthday party dinner early this at Da Toni restaurant in Kraineem, Belgium. I took a picture of the pizza being made and today it has has 101,092 views.

I believe that photography should have life to it, especially if one plans to visit the place in contrast to the orchestrated cliché “picture perfect photos” that maybe different from the real thing/ experience, I share pictures with personality and life.

I became a google local guide approximately a year ago and my pictures have had over 288,000 views. I believe that through my photos I have given users a photographic review of what to expect before they visit the place. Being a visual person myself, I can attest to the statement “picture is worth 1000 words” and can help users from all parts of the world who speak different languages to have an expectation without reading the language reviews. Through my photos they can get to see the pictorial review of the place before visiting and thus have an expectation of the experiences to be had.

In addition, as research scientist, who works on water projects in remote parts of South Western Uganda (i.e. Rwenzori mountains). I love sharing photos of nature such as the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kyaninga crater, elephants in in the wild. In my current country of residence Belgium, I recently shared pics of the blue bell festival in Hallerbos. I would like to inspire people to go out and get in-touch with nature.

Finally, through my photos I share on google maps, both business and google maps users can mutually benefit.
